Boxing Training, Fighting Fit
There are all kinds of boxing training. You have two different types of boxing, fighting professionally and amateur boxing. One people participate in the sport for the big bucks and the other is for the game and exercise. Both are different so you need to keep them separate in your mind. I’ll be talking about the person who wants to do this sport for the fun of it and for the exercise.
I’ve covered just some of the basics of boxing in this article to give you a little bit of a taste of what this sport is all about. People from all ages and walks of life can enjoy this sport. The coaches like to get a hold of the kid who is younger because the younger people are not so set in their ways. So don’t be afraid to start out in this sport if you are young.
I’ve been following amateur boxing for many years. When I was in college and in the military, I coached at this sport. The people I worked with came from all walks of life. Some people weighed 90 pounds and others weighted 250 pounds. You have those who are withdrawn and others who are gutsy. You have a number of people that some from large cities and others from rural areas. This sport has something for everyone.
People are always starting fights and when you have the boxing fundamentals under your belt you have a level of self-assurance. The sport is great for staying in shape. Boxing classes can be found in most colleges and schools.
You want to start off with the right gear. The gear that you want to have are the mouthpiece, well padded headgear, hand wraps, gloves, high topped shoes and loose fitted clothing. Other sports with the equipment can cost you a lot of money, but not boxing. The gym will make available things like the boxing ring and the punching bag.
Boxing gyms need to make it mandatory that the rules be followed. Every trainer should make the boxer wear the headgear, mouth pieces and protective cups. If something is wrong with the equipment then the boxer should stop what he is doing and replace it. You can cause destruction to your body or even get killed if you don’t follow the rules.
A physician should always be in the gym while others are practicing the sport. Boxing can be very hazardous, if you have people that don’t pursue the rules, inhabitants can get wounded or die. Following the rules protects people from getting hurt.
Your body can get really fit fast when you enjoy this sport. Boxers also do road work. Road work is running 3 to 5 miles around 3 times a week. Boxers should do sprints too. The work out in the boxing ring is usually 2 minute rounds between two people. Now you have some of my boxing training tips under your belt.

Youngsters stole the night when "The X Factor" went to Hollywood on Wednesday
(November 9), with the top 11 contestants singing songs from the movies. Well,
maybe Songs That Were at One Time Used in Movies would be more appropriate,
since few people associate Coldplay's "Fix You" with the Owen Wilson starrer
"You, Me and Dupree" or U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" with
the Julia Roberts/ Richard Gere flick "Runaway Bride."
Regardless, Astro, the 15-year-old rapper with enough confidence to fuel a
rocket ship to the moon, soared with his rendition of Eminem's "Lose
Yourself," which kept the Oscar-winning song's structure but saw all new
verses -- including a shout-out to boxing legend Joe Frazier, who died this
week -- from the pint-size spitter. "You are a champion tonight," Nicole
Scherzinger told him, while Simon Cowell seemed equally impressed with Astro's
performance and the show's ability to clear the use of the notoriously
protective Eminem's song.
Elsewhere, 13-year-old Rachel Crow was compared by Cowell to a "mini-little
Beyonce" after her stirring, show-closing take on ...
