The Perfect Weight Loss Workout: Bosu Ball Exercises
One of the best workouts involve using the Bosu ball for fast and healthy weight loss. The Bosu ball is the circular blue dome that is inflated which you see in the gym. It is flat on the bottom while the blue part is an inflated dome. As far as weight loss workout equipment, it is one of the best.
Bosu ball exercises can workout the whole body. You can utilize the Bosu ball for lower, mid and upper body workouts. Squats are typically the first leg workout exercise to begin with. Place the Bosu ball with the dome up or down depending on how difficult you want to make the exercise. The simplest exercise is to simply stand on the blue bubble and perform squats. Balance and strength will be required to get through the workout. You can use hold weights to add to the difficulty. If you want more advanced exercises, flip the Bosu over so that the dome is on the floor and the flat part can be stoods on. Strength and balance are each key to the exercise. You could also pick up the Bosu and hold it over your head while you perform the squat.
The leg lunge is another exercise that can be done on the Bosu ball. With the dome side up take one step backwards from the Bosu. Perform the lunge by starting with either leg and lunge onto the top of the Bosu. Alternate legs as you do the exercise. You can also hold weights while you perform the exercise.
Mid-section exercises work the abdominal muscles. You can perform a simple sit up by sitting on top of the dome with your feet on the floor. You could also lift your feet and perform crunches by pulling your legs into your chest then pushing them back out. Any number of abdominal exercises can be done on the Bosu such as the bicycle crunch exercise. Your abs will remain tightened through each exercise as you stay balanced on the Bosu ball.
Pushups, among other upper body workouts, can be perfomed with the Bosu. With your feet on the floor and your hands on the Bosu, perform the typical pushup. You can also put your feet on the Bosu, place your hands on the floor and do pushups. A more advanced exercise is to flip the Bosu over and grab the edges of the flat side and perform pushups. You can perform shoulder exercises by pushing the Bosu ball overhead. Celebrity fitness does not get much better than this.
It is obvious that the Bosu is one of the most versatile workout pieces of equipment available. The Bosu is one of the best things to use for weight loss workouts. You will find that you will gain strength and lose weight using it.
Does anyone know of a good method for fixing a punctured exercise/gym ball?
I found a small puncture in my gym ball, possibly from a partly exposed carpet gripper strip.
Are there any good methods of repairing it?
My first thought was a bicycle puncture repair kit but i'm not sure if the glue will take to the material the ball is made from.

They might sell repir sets, or try finding a rubber patch. You might just have to buy a new ball.
